Joint Worship Schedule

TLP holds Joint Parish services on the first Sunday of the Month.  This gives us time to visit with our sister churches and enjoy fellowship with all parish members.  Joint Parish Services are held at the location listed below at 10:45 a.m. with communion unless otherwise noted. Only the host church will hold service during these joint events.  The other two locations will be closed that day.

from ELCA.org

  • We are what God has made us – people whom God has created by grace to live in union with Jesus Christ and has prepared to live faithful, fruitful lives by the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • We are a church that walks by faith, trusting God’s promise in the gospel and knowing that we exist by and for the proclamation of this gospel word. We proclaim Jesus Christ crucified and raised from the dead for the life of the world.

Our BELIEFS

We believe that you have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. This is a free gift for all people. Our mission is to share this good news with the world. Your salvation does not depend on your works, it is a gift from God – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

After knowing that you have been saved from sin and death, we trust that you will be moved to live as Christ has taught us to live. So as the Body of Christ, we strive to live as people filled with grace and ready to forgive one another. When we fall short (as we always do), we know that Christ forgives us. Each week after hearing the words of forgiveness and hope, we leave worship renewed and ready to serve our neighbors.

We continue in the tradition of Martin Luther and boldly share God’s love with the world.
